From slowing tours to lead after lead.

Prikaznata Gradina · Sofia, Bulgaria · Ivan M.

Ivan and his family turned an overgrown plot outside Sofia into an open-air garden venue. New venues kept opening around the city, the market split, and tours slowed. Eight months after starting with Fully Booked Venue, he says the venue doubled what it did the year before.

THE BEFORE

A lot of places here in Bulgaria opened, new places for weddings. So there was more competitors, and with more competitors the market becomes smaller.

Tours were slowing down, and the work of chasing every inquiry sat with him.

He found us by reading the blog, then worried an American agency could not read a Bulgarian market.

Not an ad, not a referral. He read the blog. “You explained everything perfectly. If you’re giving this information for free, what can you do if I pay you?” What worried him was whether an American agency could read a Bulgarian market at all. What he found was the opposite of what he feared: “Your competitors here in Europe aren’t as experienced. They still are doing the marketing, but they’re just running ads. You’re trying to help me run the business.”

They bought the place more than twenty years ago. It was a jungle then. Old houses, no alleys, nothing but trees and grass. For years it was a children's party garden called Udi the Woodpecker. Then a bride came, fell in love with the hundred-year-old trees, and told them she could not invite her guests to Udi the Woodpecker Party Center. Could they call it the Fairytale Garden on her invitations? In Bulgarian, that is Prikaznata Gradina. The name stayed.

Eight months in, in his own numbers.

THE VOICE

Give it a try. Give it a month, give it some time, give it two months. See how it goes. You most likely won't regret it, because the results show.
